API Pond Melafix fish remedy acts as an all-natural, external antibacterial remedy for koi and goldfish diseases, including eye cloud, mouth fungus, fin and tail rot, damaged fins, ulcers, and open wounds.

Important Information

• Shake well before using.
• Melafix has a shelf life of 3 years, provided it is kept at room temperature and stored in its original bottle.
• Do not allow to freeze.
• Melafix is safe for snails and other invertebrates, and will not harm aquatic plants, affect pH, or adversely affect your pond’s natural biological filter.

Dosage and Directions

• 16oz treats up to 4,800 gallons
• 64oz treats up to 19,200 gallons
• Remove activated carbon from the pond filter and turn off UV light, if applicable
• As a preventive when introducing new fish to the pond: dose daily for 3 days
• To treat infections or heal wounds: dose daily for 7 days
• Within four days of treatment, tissue re-growth and healing can be observed

Add 15ml for every 150 gallons of pond water or ¼ cup for every 600 gallons.
